Desana, a female of the human species, came into existence as the offspring of Aryssha Starros, of the Starros Clan, and Cerasus Ehllo, an Imperial captain. She and her twin sibling, Thevera, were born on the Raider-class corvette called King's Ransom sometime between the years 3 ABY and 4 ABY. The name Desana was created by combining parts of the names of Deva Lompop, a Starros Clan member, and Sana Starros, who was Aryssha's cousin.
