Dobarn Tren was a priest of the Sacred Way, specifically a male of the Barbadelan species. He journeyed to the planet of Corellia with the intention of assisting the most impoverished residents of Coronet City, but ultimately departed the planet after local law enforcement erroneously suspected his involvement with the black market. In 13 BBY, Tren's presence was recorded at Coronet Spaceport when the actions of Han and Qi'ra, who were criminals, initiated a security alarm within the port.
As a priest affiliated with the Sacred Way, Dobarn Tren was a male Barbadelan. During the Galactic Empire's reign, his travels led him to Coronet City on the planet Corellia. His purpose was to provide relief to the city's neediest inhabitants. However, his efforts garnered the attention of local law enforcement, who mistakenly believed he was engaged in illicit trade within the black market. To avoid potential deportation, Tren reluctantly chose to leave Corellia of his own accord.
In the year 13 BBY, the Barbadelan was present within Coronet Spaceport, standing in a line to pass through one of the spaceport's Imperial customs checkpoints, intending to depart from the planet. However, before Tren could reach a gate, the criminals Han and Qi'ra—who were positioned several places ahead of Tren in the queue—triggered a security alert at the port after Han violated the customs gate. Consequently, the gate was sealed, trapping Tren within the queue.
The character of Dobarn Tren was brought to life by creature performer Robert Nairne in the 2018 Anthology film titled Solo: A Star Wars Story. The character's name was officially revealed in the reference book that accompanied the film, Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, authored by Pablo Hidalgo.
