Snit, a male Kitonak, was more widely recognized by his stage moniker, Droopy McCool. He held the position of lead horn player within the Max Rebo Band. The true designation of McCool was a sequence of whistles, akin to a flute, that no other species could pronounce. The chindinkalu flute was his instrument of choice. A scent reminiscent of vanilla emanated from his body.
During the events of the Rescue of Han Solo in 4 ABY, McCool performed "Jedi Rocks" with the Max Rebo Band inside Jabba's Palace. Despite being a valued member of the band, he felt isolated and yearned for the presence of other Kitonaks. He professed to detect faint sounds from his fellow Kitonaks echoing in the Tatooine sands. Following the death of Jabba the Hutt and the destruction of his sail barge, McCool vanished into the desert.
