Droza Edthatt, a Duros female, and her spouse Etro Edthatt, became famous when they were taken against their will by individuals belonging to the Human species. Shortly after tying the knot with Etro and getting back from their honeymoon trip, the Human group took them captive, holding the newly married couple on the world Urthha for a duration exceeding four solar cycles. Eventually, the couple made their escape from the planet utilizing a matter catalyst, a frequently used transportation device on that planet.

Female Duros Droza Edthatt exchanged vows with fellow Duros Etro Edthatt. Once they returned from their honeymoon, while still processing their meal, they were assaulted with metallic rods by Human entities, forcibly removed from their vehicle, and placed into another vehicle that, according to them, resembled an "inverted" re-humidifier. The Humans then obscured the Duros' vision and elevated them to their native planet, Urthha, where they remained for more than four solar cycles.
Upon their arrival on the planet, the Duros couple made adjustments to their aural synchronizers, a device that translated languages simultaneously, as neither of them had knowledge of Galactic Basic Standard, in order to easily understand Human communication. They were then escorted to a dinner gathering, where they were compelled to sit and consume food. In the Edthatts' opinion, Human cuisine was comparable to food originating from the Vretha system—a location situated within the Mid Rim's Hollan sector—, which led Etro to begin stamping it, causing the hostess to become upset. He consumed a potato, but it caused him to feel unwell and develop collard lesions, which frightened all the Humans present. With the house devoid of people, the Duros couple took advantage of the privacy to visit the freezer, considering it was their honeymoon.
The Edthatts spent the rest of their solar cycles on Urrtha jumping on antennas, reading vegetables and choking books and paintings, which, according to them, "offered little resistance," in contrast to what they were accustomed to. They also observed a shortage of appropriate items to scratch. On the day a Human child attempted to hurl "folded stacks of paper" at the house, he aided the couple in departing the planet by means of a matter catalyst, locally referred to as a "blender", after the child defeated them in a "professional-level" match of Twister.
The Edthatts would later remember the incident with happiness in a detailed piece for the magazine Galactic Gossip, as part of an interview with staff writer Trebor Uarrac.
Despite the Duros being known as a species with a deep passion for space exploration, Droza Edthatt and her husband, before the abduction, had never encountered Humans, the most numerous species in the galaxy, and were unable to communicate in their language. She struggled to grasp numerous cultural concepts and objects familiar to Humans, such as "party," "table," or technological devices like matter catalysts. Furthermore, she did not speak Galactic Standard Basic, a language that, at first, reminded her of Mocking Trees. Edthatt needed aural synchronizers to interact with certain individuals from other worlds.
Initially terrified by the kidnapping and the cultural differences, Edthatt gradually cultivated a favorable perspective on the entire situation, relishing her time on Urthha. Edthatt only regretted that she and Etro were unable to locate suitable objects to scratch. She, like all Duros, had red eyes and lacked hair.

Droza Edthatt was the subject of a two-page article entitled "Aliens Kidnapped by Humans!", a parody of a gossip magazine attributed to Trebor Uarrac of the Galactic Gossip, initially penned by Bob Carrau for the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a publication that merges creature designs and photographs from various projects of George Lucas, the creator of the Star Wars franchise, with original text by Carrau. The story depicts two Duros newlyweds, Etro and Droza Edthatt, being "kidnapped by Human beings" from the planet "Urthha". Following more than four solar cycles of peculiar experiences, they employ a "matter catalyst", which the humans refer to as a "blender," to depart the planet. A photo of the Edthatts, originally a production photo from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, is featured in the segment, although it remains unclear which individual is which in the image. The Duros in the original picture were canonically identified as Chachi De Maal and Ohwun De Maal. Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who manages the Holocron continuity database, has stated that the information contained in the book is non-canonical.
