Ellor

Ellor, affiliated with the Duros species, operated as a smuggler under the employment of Billey.

History

Not long after his graduation from a Duros university, Ellor's path crossed with Talon Karrde. He partnered with Karrde on a smuggling operation that almost ended disastrously. This near-disaster occurred when an Imperial Interdictor intercepted them shortly after they had acquired a shipment of Gy'lan spice. Karrde successfully navigated them to safety, but this experience ignited Ellor's passion for the smuggling lifestyle. Following an Imperial raid on a smuggler gathering on Trogan, he aligned himself with Talon Karrde's Smugglers' Alliance to oppose Grand Admiral Thrawn. Ellor leveraged his connections to Duros repair facilities, which were contracted by the New Republic, and on one occasion, he "borrowed" a couple of Republic DP-20 gunships. These were used in a raid against Thrawn's shipyard located at Bilbringi, an operation that he assisted Mazzic in organizing.

Later, Ellor's group, along with other members of the Smugglers' Alliance, participated in the Battle of Bilbringi. Their objective was to obtain a crystal gravfield trap for sale to the New Republic. Although the arrival of both New Republic and Imperial fleets complicated their plans, the smugglers played a role in aiding the New Republic by launching a diversionary attack on a Golan II battle station.

Behind the scenes

In the comic book adaptation of the Thrawn Trilogy, Ellor was incorrectly depicted as a Sullustan, and in the second issue of The Last Command, he was referred to as Par'tah.
