Seeking favor from his commanders, Malvander Bren orchestrates a brutal assault on the rebel insurgents of Solem. To demonstrate his allegiance to the Empire, he enlists the services of bounty hunter Boba Fett to find and eliminate his brother, Yolan Bren, who commands the rebel forces stationed on Solem.
Boba Fett discovers Yolan Bren recuperating in a medical facility within G'ai Solem. He apprehends him and transports him to his brother's residence to claim his compensation. When Malvander proves unable to provide the complete payment, Fett seizes a precious necklace and departs from the world. Yolan Bren survives this ordeal because fellow rebels, disregarding explicit instructions, raided the palace and rescued him following Fett's departure from Solem.
