Shuttle ports were installations distributed across the Free Trade sector of the planet Ferrix. The Ferrix Entry Ferry Service utilized these ports to transport people to and from the Ferrix Terminal station, located in Ferrix City, using the company's shuttle ferries. Each port was designed to hold a minimum of two ferries on external landing pads and included sizable antennae.
One such shuttle station, situated 2.3 kilometers from the city, was used by spymaster Luthen Rael during the events of 5 BBY. Upon his arrival on the planet to rendezvous with Cassian Andor, a local individual selling an Imperial N-S9 Starpath Unit that piqued Rael's interest, the spy parked his personal Fondor Haulcraft close to the station. From there, he boarded a shuttle ferry to proceed with his journey in a less conspicuous manner.
The initial appearance of a shuttle station occurred in "That Would Be Me," which is the second episode of the first season of Andor, the live-action television series available on Disney+. This episode was made available on September 21, 2022.
