Star Wars 47: Droid World represents the forty-seventh installment within the Marvel Star Wars comic book series.
On the planet Xeron, the Rebel Alliance have successfully seized a newly designed, yet damaged, Imperial warbot. Seeking assistance, they opt to enlist the services of Kligson's Moon, a space station populated entirely by droids, to mend the captured warbot. Kligson consents to the repair, but stipulates that R2-D2 and C-3PO must be present during the procedure to observe, as Kligson intends to retain possession of the droid post-repair. Unbeknownst to all, another droid residing on Kligson's moon, the ex-Imperial Z-X3 experimental droid trooper, known as Zee-Exthree, harbors alternative plans. Zee-Exthree intends to utilize components from the warbot to restore his personal war droid, with the ultimate goal of instigating an uprising against Kligson. However, Kligson, having foreseen this treachery, deployed a decoy to draw Zee-Exthree and his adherents into the open, at which point he would unleash his own warbot upon them. Following the conclusion of the conflict, R2-D2 and C-3PO meticulously document the warbot's schematics before returning to the Rebel Alliance. Meanwhile, Kligson relocates his station from its current orbit to a more clandestine position, ensuring its elusiveness from the Empire's grasp.
