Floog was a male who oversaw the fuel refinery located at the Drahgor III station on the planet Drahgor III. He had assistance from his nephews Flanx and Flix, along with Flix's cousins: Fleck, Fleez, and Flobb. Eventually, Flix ceased his employment with Floog. By the time 34 ABY arrived, Floog had stepped down from his position and transferred the refinery's management to Flanx. During that year, Flix made a trip to the refinery seeking fuel for the Colossus supertanker fuel depot. He had hoped his uncle would be of assistance and supply him with fuel, but he instead discovered from Flanx that Floog had retired.
The initial reference to Floog occurred in "From Beneath," the sixth installment of Star Wars Resistance's second season, an animated TV show. This episode was broadcast on November 10, 2019. A sneak peek of the scene mentioning Floog was released four days earlier in the episode's promotional trailer, which was uploaded to the official Star Wars YouTube channel.
