During the conflict known as the Galactic Civil War, specifically in the year 5 ABY, General Hera Syndulla, commanding the New Republic forces from the Star Destroyer named Deliverance, pressed on with their hunt targeting the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. A new comm burst, one they had been tracking, surfaced just days following their previous encounter involving the bulk freighter Yadeez. Lacking a tractor beam, the Deliverance executed a hyperspace jump, materializing far within the system, hoping to catch the 204th off guard. They arrived in an uncharted system, identified by an alphanumeric code, filled with numerous planetoids and scattered wreckage. To prevent the Yadeez and its protective ships from escaping to lightspeed, they were driven towards one of the planetoids. A short battle, lasting just six minutes, erupted between the New Republic starfighter squadrons and the 204th's TIEs before the Imperials disengaged. The engagement resulted in the destruction of two TIE fighters, while the New Republic sustained no losses, except for a minor injury suffered by Genni Avremif (Hail Six) when his ejection seat was unintentionally activated upon landing.
