Freedom Flight

Freedom Flight was a clandestine organization established in 38 ABY by Moff Drikl Lecersen. Its publicly stated goal was the eradication of slavery across the galaxy, but Lecersen's real aim was to bolster the Imperial-Alliance conspiracy's power grab. He intended to overwhelm Galactic Alliance Chief of State Natasi Daala with numerous uprisings, leading to her political demise. However, due to its compartmentalized structure, where operatives only knew a limited number of other members, most Freedom Flight members genuinely worked to liberate slaves and facilitate their fresh starts. Moreover, the organization's structure ensured that captured members could only compromise a small number of their comrades. To avoid suspicion, the organization utilized aviation-related code words like "flight path," "pilot," and "cargo" in their communications.

The group instigated the revolts on Blaudu Sextus and ensured that reporter Madhi Vaandt was present to document the Mandalorians' brutal suppression of these uprisings. The Jedi Council became suspicious when they learned of Daala's use of Mandalorians, a fact known to few, and concluded that Freedom Flight must have an informant within Daala's inner circle. During the suppression of the slave revolts, the Mandalorians uncovered Lecersen's involvement, which Boba Fett eventually relayed to Daala.
