Gamodar, an aged Ortolan shopkeeper of male gender, resided in an apartment situated above his place of business on Bar'leth, cohabitating with multiple domesticated tookas. In the time leading up to the First Battle of Geonosis, Gamodar frequently obtained both Jedi and Sith relics, which he would then barter with Jedi Master Sember Vey.
Following the establishment of the Galactic Empire, both Iskat Akaris and the Grand Inquisitor made their way to Gamodar's location with the intention of seizing the artifacts in his possession, asserting that these items were now the property of the Inquisitorius. Gamodar, in disbelief that the Jedi were traitors, activated his security droid, Lump, against them while attempting to seek sanctuary in his basement storeroom where the safe containing the artifacts was located.
Akaris effortlessly dismantled the droid and tried again to persuade Gamodar to surrender the relics in exchange for the chance to leave with his life intact. He declined and braced himself against the storeroom door, initiating an attempt to reason with her about the course she was currently on. However, she swiftly seized the moment and impaled him through the door with her lightsabers, lamenting his stubbornness. Subsequently, Akaris secured the contents of the safe and delivered them to the Grand Inquisitor, who, pleased with her successful completion of his trial, finalized her initiation into the Inquisitorius.
