Gargachykk, sometimes called Garga, was a male Wookiee who served as an enforcer. He was employed by Darnada, a Dug Vigo within the Black Sun organization. In the year 33 BBY, Gargachykk, along with fellow enforcer Asa Naga, attempted to collect a gambling debt from Feen Fenoob, a Sullustan, while they were aboard Darnada's space station. However, their target managed to escape them. Subsequently, Fenoob met his end at the hands of a newcomer to the station: Darth Maul, a Zabrak Sith Lord. Concealing his true identity as a Sith Lord, Maul revealed himself to Gargachyyk and Naga, requesting that they take him to Darnada so that he could become a member of Black Sun. After the two enforcers presented him to their superior, Maul proceeded to kill the Vigo, Gargachyyk, and all of Darnada's other subordinates, with the exception of Naga.
Gargachykk, frequently referred to as "Garga," was a male Wookiee who functioned as an enforcer for Darnada, the Dug Black Sun Vigo, during the years leading up to the Battle of Naboo which took place in 32 BBY. Sometime prior to these events, he had lost his left eye and compensated for the loss by wearing an eye patch over the empty socket. In 33 BBY, Darnada tasked Gargachykk and his fellow enforcer, Asa Naga, with collecting a gambling debt from the Sullustan named Feen Fenoob, an assignment which took them aboard Darnada's space station. Gargachykk and Naga lay in wait for Fenoob inside the station's hangar, confronting him when the Sullustan sought refuge there.

The enforcers successfully apprehended Fenoob and were preparing to bring him before Darnada. However, the Sullustan unexpectedly deployed flash globes, temporarily blinding them and enabling his escape. Despite this setback, Gargachykk and Naga resumed their pursuit of the debtor. Soon after, each of them independently discovered Fenoob's dead body, severed at the waist, lying near a parked ship. Shortly thereafter, they encountered a tattooed Zabrak nearby, who was holding a partially activated lightsaber with a red blade. Naga commanded the stranger to remain still, but the Zabrak deactivated his weapon and assured the enforcers that they had no reason to fear him. Identifying himself as Maul, he confessed to killing Fenoob and requested to be taken to Darnada so that he could join Black Sun.
Naga, believing that Darnada could benefit from someone like Maul, agreed to the request. Consequently, he and Gargachykk escorted the newcomer to Darnada's quarters. Naga introduced Maul to Darnada, but the Dug remained unimpressed and demanded that Maul reveal his true intentions for visiting the station. Maul—who was in reality Darth Maul, a Sith Lord on assignment from his Master, Darth Sidious—responded that he had come to kill everyone present on the station and activated his double-bladed lightsaber. Gargachykk reacted first, charging at the Zabrak with his blaster rifle. However, Maul swiftly cut off his right arm and beheaded him with a single, decisive strike, resulting in the Wookiee's death. Maul then proceeded to slaughter Darnada and all of his other men, sparing only Naga so that he could spread the news of Darnada's demise to the other leaders of Black Sun.
Gargachykk possessed a large and powerful physique, typical of a Wookiee, with black eyes and white hair that he wore in three long braids below his chin. According to Asa Naga, Gargachykk was inherently distrustful of others, consistently expecting the worst from them. While threatening Feen Fenoob, Naga also implied that Gargachykk was capable of tearing the Sullustan's arms from their sockets if he refused to cooperate. Gargachykk demonstrated his loyalty to Darnada by immediately attacking Darth Maul when the latter activated his lightsaber, but this action ultimately led to his swift demise.
Gargachykk's initial appearance was in Darth Maul (2000) 2, a comic book penned by Ron Marz and illustrated by Jan Duursema. It was released on October 4, 2000 as a component of the Star Wars: Darth Maul comic series. In the 2001 video game titled Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, Gargachykk's name was listed as a potential leader for AI-controlled players commanding the Wookiee faction within the standard game mode.
