While he was officially held responsible for the ship's destruction, his career experienced a resurgence during the Eternal Empire's Conquest, ultimately leading to his appointment as Minister of Logistics under Empress Darth Acina. He took profound pride in his official designation, and would make a point of correcting anyone who omitted it when addressing him.
At one point in his career, Malavai Quinn disobeyed Lorman's direct instructions to halt his pursuit of the missing Emperor's Wrath, resulting in Lorman imprisoning him for insubordination.
