Gogol (patron)

Gogol was a humanoid male criminal. He operated in the Dor on Coruscant during the waning days of the Galactic Republic, leading up to the Clone Wars.

Obi-Wan Kenobi purchased intelligence from Gogol concerning the slave-raider Krayn's interactions with the Colicoids. The Jedi Master had been dubious of these dealings since Krayn's assault on a Colicoid cargo ship being escorted by Kenobi and his Padawan, and the fury of its captain toward Krayn, as if the offense caused by the attack was deeply personal.

Gogol revealed to Kenobi that the Colicoids had covertly gained control of the Kessel mines. Furthermore, they were plotting to completely seize the spice trade, including the processing facilities managed by Krayn on Nar Shaddaa, also known as the "Smuggler's Moon"—operations fueled by Krayn's seemingly endless source of slaves.
