Goonral Monshi was a Jedi Knight of the Latero species. He was active during the High Republic Era and fought in the Assault on Mulita. This was a combined attack by the Jedi Order and the Hutt Clan against the Great Progenitor and her Drengir offspring, with the goal of resolving the Drengir crisis. Monshi's weapon of choice was a lightsaber with a blue blade.
This Latero Jedi made his initial appearance, though without being named, within the eighth issue of Star Wars: The High Republic, a comic series. This issue was written by Cavan Scott, with illustrations by Ario Anindito, and it was released by Marvel Comics on August 11, 2021. Before the issue's release, a preview featuring him was shown on StarWars.com on August 4.
