Kindosorn, a world covered in jungle landscapes, was a planet located in the Outer Rim. During the time of the High Republic Era, it housed an outpost belonging to the Galactic Republic. When the Nihil marauders established the [Stormwall](/article/stormwall] barrier, laying claim to a region of [space](/article/realspace] called the Occlusion Zone, Kindosorn was enveloped by their territory. Following their escape from the Jedi starcruiser Ataraxia, which was seized by the former Nihil Lourna Dee, the Jedi OrbaLin and Goonral Monshi found themselves marooned behind the Stormwall. These two Jedi eventually made Kindosorn their home, but they later faced an assault from Jedi Master [Sskeer](/article/sskeer], who was in a deranged state, along with the Nihil's Children of the Storm and the terrifying Nameless creatures.
After reclaiming the Ataraxia and penetrating the Occlusion Zone, Jedi Master Keeve Trennis and Jedi Knights Ceret and Terec received a distress signal originating from Kindosorn, and they landed on the celestial body with Dee in their custody. The group encountered the stranded Jedi, who informed Trennis that Sskeer was located within the Ruins of Tadneer deep within the jungle. Accompanied by Dee, Trennis set out to find Sskeer within the ancient ruin.
