The Great Hall existed inside Bright Tree Village, which was an Ewok settlement constructed among the trees located on the forest moon called Endor. During a harsh winter period on Endor, the Ewoks belonging to the Bright Tree tribe prepared a stew using a captured kublag and consumed it within the Great Hall, but the quantity was insufficient to satisfy the hunger of the entire tribe.
While seated on benches inside the hall after their meal, the Ewoks Teebo and Wicket Wystri Warrick had a conversation regarding the snow of that season, before Warrick's brother Weechee and Princess Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka, who were in the process of removing bowls from the hall's extended tables, interrupted them. Weechee and Warrick engaged in a dispute, leading Warrick to announce his intention to hunt in the snow, at which time Chief Chirpa and the shaman Logray recounted the legend of the mythical Kroolok with the aim of dissuading the young Ewoks from venturing outside the village.
"The Kroolok," a brief narrative penned by Cavan Scott along with George Mann, featured the Great Hall; it was released within the Life Day Treasury collection during 2021.
