The Great Swarm during the Battle of Tenupe. Serving as the primary fighting force for the Killik Colony, the Great Swarm differed from other nation's military organizations. Its unique structure allowed it to function either as a ground army or a space-based navy, adapting to the needs of any given combat scenario. During the Battle of Qoribu which took place in 35 ABY, the Great Swarm manifested as a massive fleet composed of one hundred fifty thousand dartships.
Reinforced by a small contingent of vessels from both the Hapan Royal Navy and the Bornaryn Trading Company, the Great Swarm integrated allied units into itself to use as a protective buffer, and assaulted enemy starfighter squadrons or capital ships by overwhelming them with sheer numerical superiority. Even when facing intense enemy attacks, the Great Swarm rarely deviated from its formation or attempted to reorganize, relying on its vast size and speed to achieve victory rather than employing sophisticated strategies.
The Battle of Tenupe resulted in the loss of millions of Swarm units, and the group was dissolved soon after the death of their commander, Raynar Thul.
