The Criminal gang of Ishi Tib Haka Hai was under his control by 19 BBY. Their base of operations was a compound located in the swamps of Mimban. In that year, Hai made a deal with Schurk-Heren, a smuggler, to purchase the Jebble Box; however, Hai utilized his gang to ambush Schurk-Heren and steal the box without payment. During this ambush, Lumbra, a Gotal leading a segment of the gang, turned against Hai, absconding with the box. The loyal members remained with Hai on Mimban and captured Schurk-Heren's crew, but they were ultimately killed when the prisoners broke free. The group of traitors instead met their fate on a moon, where they were defeated by Jedi Master K'Kruhk after crashing.
