Hantic

Hantic existed as a male Ankura Gungan and occupied the position of boss within the city of Otoh Langua on the planet of Naboo circa 3000 BBY. During the War of the Gungan Tribes, a conflict that embroiled the Gungans of that time, Otoh Langua experienced a severe depletion of its treasury, which compelled its inhabitants to continue their participation in the fighting. Ultimately, Hantic received a visit from Boss Gallo, who was engaged in an effort to unify the Gungans against Rogoe, the boss who was orchestrating the war. Hantic conveyed to Gallo that Otoh Langua would align itself with his cause if Gallo could devise a means to restore the city's financial stability, a feat that Gallo accomplished by destroying one of Rogoe's spaceports. Expressing his gratitude, Hantic thanked Gallo for his assistance to the city and committed forces to Gallo's Grand Army.

Biography

Hantic in Otoh Langua

Hantic, a male Ankura Gungan, resided on the planet Naboo and held the role of boss for the city known as Otoh Langua around the year 3000 BBY. During Hantic's leadership in Otoh Langua, a period marked by conflict as Naboo's Gungan cities engaged in war with one another, Otoh Langua suffered significant resource depletion. This situation compelled Hantic to persist in fighting until a resolution could be found. Furthermore, in this conflict, Otoh Langua developed a rivalry with the city of Otoh Jahai, whose Boss accused Hantic of stealing their Sacred Staff, a religiously important artifact. However, Hantic denied the accusation, and had not in fact stolen the staff.

Eventually, Gallo, previously the boss of the ruined city of Otoh Sancture, arrived in Otoh Langua as part of his mission to unite the Gungan tribes against Boss Rogoe, who was manipulating the war and had destroyed Gallo's city. Gallo inquired of Hantic whether he had stolen the staff from Otoh Jahai, a city he had previously visited and agreed to find the staff for, but Hantic stated that he did not possess it. Hantic then informed Gallo that he would join Gallo's cause if he could somehow restore Otoh Langua's wealth. Acting on the advice of his ally Marsune, Gallo and his militiagungs launched an attack on a spaceport belonging to Rogoe, seizing its supplies for Hantic. Consequently, Hantic expressed his gratitude to Gallo for his assistance and contributed four members of the Kaadu Cavalry, domesticated bipedal kaadu equipped with cannons on their backs, to Gallo's Grand Army.

Personality and traits

During the conflict with the other Gungan tribes, Hantic, identifiable by his green skin, found himself obligated to maintain his forces in combat to sustain his city. However, he displayed a readiness to pursue a peaceful resolution when approached by Gallo. Additionally, Hantic took offense when Gallo inquired about the alleged theft of Otoh Jahai's Sacred Staff, dismissing the accusation as the other city being crazy.
