Herkan Base

During the age of the Galactic Alliance, Herkan Base was a Golan III Space Defense NovaGun type of space station that orbited the planet known as Nam Chorios. As one of the orbital facilities managed by the Galactic Alliance Army around Nam Chorios, its purpose was to stop starships from leaving the world without authorization, with the goal of containing the Death Seed plague. Herkan Base was specifically located to monitor the Crystal Valley area of Nam Chorios. In the year 44 ABY, the psychotic Jedi named Jysella Horn managed to infiltrate the station, seizing control to further the aims of the being Abeloth. Not long after, the Lost Tribe of Sith sent their forces to Nam Chorios and attempted to place their agents on the defensive installations around the planet, so that they would not be used against the Sith. However, they failed to gain control of the weapon systems at Herkan Base. Later, the StealthX wing of the New Jedi Order surprised the Sith in an ambush, and during this battle, Herkan Base began firing upon the Jedi starfighters.
