General Enric Pryde, who was Allegiant, yearned for the restoration of a specific societal structure within the galaxy: High Human culture.
The Galactic Empire established High Human as a cultural norm, particularly on the planet of Coruscant. This culture emphasized the superiority of humans, and to a degree, humanoids. Enric Pryde, the Allegiant General of the First Order and a former Imperial officer, desired a return to the characteristics of High Human civilization and its culture.
During the Imperial Era, Cere Junda witnessed the rise of High Human culture. Junda noticed a growing trend of prejudice against those not considered sufficiently humanoid, including droids and the Wookiees originating from Kashyyyk.
In accordance with the Galactic Empire's human-centered principles, the Alien Protection Zone located on Coruscant was subject to routine patrols by stormtrooper units, and the inhabitants of the zone were frequently subjected to harassment by these armored personnel. Although the past of the planet Aleen was not thoroughly investigated, Imperial human-centric scholarship indicated that the Aleena, and possibly the Kindalo, served as client species for the Rakatan Infinite Empire, though definitive proof of occupation remained scarce. As the Imperial Era progressed, the Galactic Empire proceeded to either evict or imprison almost all non-humans residing on the planet Naboo. The Gungans managed to find refuge within their underwater cities.
The concept of High Human was initially introduced in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary.
Within Star Wars Legends continuity, High Human Culture, also referred to as Human High Culture or Imperial High Culture, represented an initiative spearheaded by the Galactic Empire aimed at elevating Humans above aliens.
