Hurron, a male human, functioned as an officer within the structure of the Galactic Empire. He achieved the rank of Commandant and was assigned to the Imperial base that the Empire maintained on the planet Vetine. Besides the Emperor, Darth Sidious, Hurron was the sole individual possessing the required access codes to gain entry into a laboratory; this lab housed the last remaining pieces of a Great Tree that formerly stood within the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant. During a Rebel operation executed by Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker and Lieutenant Shara Bey, who were attempting to get inside the base and retrieve the tree fragments, Hurron died in an explosion.
