A father, who was a male and the parent of the Ubese Ilini, resided on the planet Uba IV. In 2 BBY, Ilini killed him and subsequently concealed the body with assistance from their spouse, Hareck. This event led to their exile from Uba IV. Later, in 3 ABY, while at a restaurant located on the planet Ord Mantell, Ilini and Hareck, who were now members of Boushh's crew consisting of exiled Ubese bounty hunters, had a brief conversation regarding the killing of Ilini's father. Hareck stated to Ilini that their father had earned his fate, a sentiment Ilini shared, though they also commented that Hareck didn't need to assist in concealing the body. Hareck responded by saying he would do it again if necessary.
The comic one-shot War of the Bounty Hunters – Boushh 1 featured a mention of Ilini's father. Alyssa Wong wrote it, and Marvel Comics released it on September 15, 2021. A preview of the issue, which also mentioned Ilini's father, appeared on StarWars.com on September 8 of the same year, prior to the comic's publication.
