A bounty hunter from the Ubese species, named Ilini, identified as non-binary. Ilini was married to Hareck. Following the death of Ilini's father at Ilini's hand, the couple was exiled from their home world, Uba IV. Subsequently, Ilini and Hareck became members of Boushh's crew, which consisted of other Ubese who had also been exiled.
After killing their father, Ilini, a non-binary Ubese individual, was forced to leave Uba IV, becoming exiled. Hareck, Ilini's spouse, supported Ilini's actions, even assisting in concealing the body. By the time the War of the Bounty Hunters occurred, Ilini had lived in exile for five years. As bounty hunters, Ilini and Hareck joined a crew of exiled Ubese. This group was led by Boushh and included Brene and Tans.
Ilini expressed empathy for Tans' struggles adapting to exile, admitting that they themselves had not found it easy either. During the job the crew undertook on the Acquisitor, Ilini was taken aback and displeased to discover children present on the ship. Despite having killed their own father, Ilini was shocked when Domina Tagge murdered her brother, Silas, who was the one who had hired the crew on behalf of Crimson Dawn.
Ilini possessed proficiency in both the Ubese language and Galactic Basic Standard.
Ilini's attire consisted of layered clothing in shades of blue-green, including a knee-length cape that was attached to their belt in the front but hung behind them. Their silver-toned helmet featured a cyan visor. They also wore gray gloves and boots, and they carried a blaster rifle.
Ilini's introduction was in War of the Bounty Hunters – Boushh 1, a one-shot comic book that was part of the larger Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event. The comic was penned by Alyssa Wong and featured artwork by David Baldeón. Following the comic's release, Wong shared additional details from their script notes on Twitter, including Ilini's non-binary gender identity, their use of they/them pronouns, and further insights into their personality.
