Ilir Post was the offspring of the director who oversaw the Allied Grain and Roughage corporation on the planet Corellia.
During the year 11 BBY, Post made an attempt to sexually assault Pamr; however, Soontir Fel intervened. Consequently, Post's father orchestrated Fel's assignment to the Academy of Carida in order to stop his testimony at Ilir's Corsec trial. This resulted in Ilir developing a deep-seated animosity towards Fel; however, Post was later incarcerated on Kessel.
In 4.5 ABY, he captured Fyric Fel and held him as a hostage, as part of an attempt to discover the whereabouts of Wynssa Starflare. He was collaborating with a high-ranking individual within the Imperial forces, potentially Ysanne Isard.
Corran Horn and Iella Wessiri, aided by members of Rogue Squadron, foiled the scheme. He met his demise when Fyric's father, Todr, fatally shot him in the head.
