Following the battle of Endor, Grand Admiral Rae Sloane scoured the Hall of Imperial Register seeking details about her commanding officer, Admiral Gallius Rax. During her search, she came across an image crystal showing a youthful Rax with ISB Colonel Wullf Yularen, Admiral Dodd Rancit, Vice Admiral Terrinald Screed, Grand Vizier Mas Amedda, and the Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine.
Image crystals were already becoming outdated by the time the Battle of Endor occurred, as more effective data storage methods had gained widespread use.
