Ironwood
Ironwood designated a specific variety of wood. A Sith cultist from the Alazmec of Winsit utilized a makeshift club constructed from ironwood while residing among the irontrees of the planet Mustafar. This individual served as both a pilgrim visiting the remains of Fortress Vader and a colonist inhabiting the neighboring Corvax Fen. During an attack in 35 ABY by First Order Supreme Leader Kylo Ren on their group, the cultist employed the ironwood club, but Ren swiftly killed him, along with all the other cultists.
Behind the scenes
The 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker by J.J. Abrams marked the initial appearance of Ironwood. Its identification occurred on the same day through the film's visual dictionary, authored by Pablo Hidalgo. The 1996 Star Wars Legends novel Shield of Lies, penned by Michael P. Kube-McDowell, was the source of the original Ironwood.
