The Ishram system was annihilated when its sun exploded in a supernova, resulting in the destruction of the entire system. Decades afterward, specifically sometime between 32 BBY and 19 BBY which is fifty years, the Besalisk Dexter Jettster deceived the Weequay criminal Jarl. Dexter led Jarl to believe that Shara'Tam, a moon that Jarl sought, was located within the doomed Ishram system, while its actual location was the Arath system.
The short story "Galactic Tales: Inheritance" from the Galactic Tales series included a reference to the Ishram system. George Mann authored the story, which appeared in the 211th issue of Star Wars Insider magazine, released on June 7, 2022.
