Ix Ixstra was a pilot who belonged to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, and she was female. After the Battle of Hoth resulted in the Alliance Fleet separating, Ixstra found herself stationed on the Home One. It was there that Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson enlisted her into the newly formed Red Squadron. While stationed at Echo Base on Hoth, she was confined to the brig for a period of two weeks as punishment for striking a Pathfinder with a meal tray. During an attack on a pirate base that posed a threat to the Alliance's meeting location, she died. During this time, she was known as Red Six, her callsign, and she piloted a T-65B X-wing starfighter as the wingmate of Will Scotian.
