During the era of the Galactic Civil War, a Human male named Jark served as an officer for CorSec and resided on Corellia. His gender was male.
Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, Jark held the rank of captain within the Corellian Security Force, with his base of operations located in Tyrena. Cora, who held the rank of Inspector, operated under his command.
In the year 1 ABY, a vessel, with CorSec Captain Donovan at the helm, supposedly met its end in a crash close to Tyrena while transporting weaponry intended for the local CorSec contingent. Captain Jark tasked Cora with the investigation of this incident. Cora's investigation revealed that the Deflarians, a criminal organization, had commandeered Donovan's ship. To conceal their act of theft, they staged a crash using a ship of identical design. Ultimately, Cora, aided by a spacer, successfully extracted Captain Donovan from the Deflarian bunker and recovered both the stolen ship and its cargo of weapons.
Simultaneously, Captain Jark was determined to bring to justice those responsible for the hijacking of Captain Donovan's ship. Jark's investigation uncovered that Jori, a CorSec agent who betrayed the organization, had divulged sensitive information to the Ragtag criminals regarding the weapons cargo, including Donovan's flight schedule. The Ragtags, lacking the necessary combat strength to carry out the theft themselves, enlisted the Deflarians to hijack the ship and abscond with the cargo. Consequently, Jark dispatched spacers to disrupt a clandestine meeting between the Deflarians and the Ragtags. During this operation, Jori met his demise, but CorSec successfully obtained crucial information about Tyrena's defensive capabilities that the traitor had provided to the Ragtags.
Jark made an appearance as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Jark was introduced to the game through the "Publish 28" update, which was released on April 26, 2006.
