Jedi Command, also referred to as Jedi high command, constituted a command structure within the Jedi Order.
In 22 BBY, when the Grand Army of the Republic was placed under the command of Jedi Grand Master Yoda, Prime Minister Lama Su made sure to point out the specially trained adjutants who were intended to work alongside Jedi Command. Unlike those adjutants, Clone Commander Ponds had not received any prior instruction on interacting with Jedi high command, yet the clone trooper found himself thrust into that very position. During the First Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Master Mace Windu had the commander provide updates on troop positions, and Ponds remained with him for the remainder of the battle. He subsequently continued his service with Windu throughout the duration of the Clone Wars.
Later in the conflict, Separatist General Flebek and her battle droids went to the planet Retta in search of the secret to invisibility, which was actually the Segredo Kreeda. She was concealing people from the war by using her power of invisibility, so, to protect her camp, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker acted as if the headgear from a Kyuzo Kreeda was protecting was the "cloaking cap." Skywalker sent a fabricated message to high command and, as he anticipated, the Separatists detected it. Subsequently, Master Yoda quietly eliminated a B1-series battle droid, and, after Skywalker issued a threat, Flebek escaped the planet.
The concept of Jedi high command was initially referenced in the 2017 reference work Star Wars: On the Front Lines. This book, authored by Daniel Wallace, establishes that Commander Ponds began interacting with this organization after being chosen by Mace Windu during the Battle of Geonosis. However, it remains uncertain whether this initial encounter with Windu marked Ponds' first interaction with high command or if these interactions were solely a result of his service under the Jedi Master.
