Keefar Branto, a male human who existed during the age of the High Republic Era, was once a criminal. He participated in various illegal activities, such as gun-running, bounty hunting, and a short period as a member of the Nihil. Branto later tried to reform, and after detective Sian Holt spoke on his behalf, he was placed on probation. Branto became Holt's partner and was assigned a highly confidential assignment for the Galactic Republic, unbeknownst to Holt. While on this mission, he collaborated with the criminal Urk Panga, trying to gain the confidence of the Narquois to learn about his current work. However, Holt, obligated to monitor Branto with a tracking device due to his probation, tracked him down, resulting in both of them being confronted by a Tarnab assailant who shot and killed Branto.
