Arathab Fal was a male Tarnab who, during the High Republic Era, was a sought-after killer. Acting as an agent for someone purporting to be a high-ranking member of the Nihil marauder group, Fal sought to broker the sale of a weapon. He partnered with Chadra-Fan physician Kisma Uttersond in this endeavor. Fal encountered Urk Panga, a criminal, and Keefar Branto, a reformed criminal working undercover for the Galactic Republic, on the planet of Coruscant. When detective Sian Holt trailed Branto to discover why he was associating with underworld figures, Fal materialized from the darkness and launched an assault, deadly shooting Panga. Branto and Holt tried to get away, but the Tarnab also killed Branto. Holt was struck down, and although she was able to grab her blaster and shoot at Fal before losing consciousness, the Tarnab fled, proceeding to Vorzyd V to try to sell the item again. At a later point, Fal joined the Nihil, becoming one of Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro's She'ar. Fal met his end as a member of the She'ar, perishing during a unsuccessful assassination attempt targeting Ro.
