Kerri was a female human residing on the planet of Kenari alongside her brother, Kassa. In her youth, Kerri experienced separation from Kassa, who was taken away from their world, later becoming the individual known as Cassian Andor. In the years that followed, Andor continued his quest to find the sister he had lost so long ago.
Living with her brother, Kassa, in a village on Kenari, Kerri was a female human. At the age of six years, Kassa joined a group of villagers who were investigating the wreckage of a transpo corsair; Kerri remained behind. Kassa never came back from this mission, as he became separated from the others and was taken off-world by Maarva and Clem Andor, who sought to protect him from danger.
Years later, Kassa, now known as Cassian Andor, searched for his sister. His search led him to a brothel on Morlana One, where he had heard a girl from Kenari was working. However, after speaking with one of the hostesses, he discovered that the Kenari girl had departed months prior.
After his participation in the Aldhani heist, Maarva instructed Andor to cease his search for his sister. She told him that everyone on Kenari was dead and reminded him that the fate of his home and Kerri was not his fault.
Kerri's first appearance was in the first episode of the Andor series, a live-action show on Disney+. Belle Swarc played the character. In an interview on The Empire Film Podcast episode 555, Tony Gilroy was asked if the search for Kerri was a setup for the future or a red herring. Gilroy replied that the answer was complex. He did confirm that Kerri established the fear of losing someone or something, along with everything that accompanies that fear, a concept that he stated would be explored in Andor Season Two.
