Kimmund's unit was comprised of stormtroopers led by Commander Kimmund, a commanding officer in the 1st Legion and the second-ranking individual under the Sith Lord Darth Vader. He was the fourth officer in charge of the unit; two previous leaders were reduced in rank and sent back to the 501st Legion, while the third was executed. In the Imperial Era, Kimmund's unit fought against the Grysks above Batuu, on the Chimaera, and during the Battle of Mokivj.
