Korgee beasts were a type of species that resided on the planet of Cato Neimoidia. These creatures possessed several key characteristics: four short, stubby legs, sizable bodies exceeding 1.82 meters in height, [fur](/article/hair] covering their bodies, and black noses. Their diet consisted of meat; typically, they exhibited a docile nature, but they were known to become more hostile when experiencing hunger.
During 22 BBY, a korgee beast made an attempt to strike and consume Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kenobi was at the time investigating the recent bombing that occurred in the Cadesura district of Zarra, the capital city of Cato Neimoidia. Ruug Quarnom, a Neimoidian Royal Guardswoman, intervened by shooting the creature with her sniper rifle to protect Kenobi. Subsequently, she administered medical treatment using a medpac and laser sutures, while her colleague, Royal Guardsman Ketar Nor, provided the beast with food rations. Nor then proceeded to throw a ration a distance away, drawing the korgee beast away from the three individuals. Subsequently, Kenobi went back to the location of the bombing to look into a strange bunker, and he threw several portions of uncooked meat in the opposite direction of himself so he could distract some korgee beasts.
The korgee beasts made their debut in the 2022 novel titled Brotherhood, which was penned by Mike Chen.
