The Battle of Kur unfolded within this nebula, a conflict where Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro orchestrated the demise of Kassav Milliko's Nihil contingent, Tempest, by directing them into a confrontation with a united fleet comprised of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order. This battle resulted in the destruction of Milliko's Tempest, an outcome Ro anticipated would deceive the Republic into thinking the Nihil had been completely eradicated. During the clash, Jedi Master Jora Malli met her deaths, and the Trandoshan Master Sskeer suffered the loss of an arm. In the aftermath of the battle, Jedi Master Avar Kriss observed a significant change in Sskeer's demeanor, attributing it to his experiences at Kur.
