Kassav's Tempest, a Tempest division, was one of three such divisions within the Nihil ranks. At its helm was the Tempest Runner himself, Kassav Milliko, supported by his three Storms: namely Dellex, Gravhan, and Wet Bub. This particular Tempest boasted approximately one thousand members and was known for its members' penchant for seeking out thrills more so than the other Tempest divisions. Milliko thought of his division as the most battle-hardened group within the Nihil, even boasting that they were stronger than all other Tempests combined. This Tempest division had hundreds of ships at its disposal.
The destruction of the Tempest occurred in 232 BBY during the Battle of Kur. Marchion Ro, the Eye of the Nihil, orchestrated this outcome by sabotaging the Path engines of the Tempest's fleet. The remaining members of the Tempest, including the Runner and his key officers, met their death when Governor Mural Veen, along with soldiers from Eriadu, launched an assault on the New Elite. Ro strategically used the annihilation of the Tempest as a symbol of sacrifice, which ultimately helped him seize complete control over the Nihil organization.
