L9-7240

L9-7240 was the identifier assigned to an Imperial scout trooper serving his duty on the world of Kashyyyk during 14 BBY. During a battle against Partisans under the command of the rebel Saw Gerrera, the soldier was inside an All Terrain Armored Transport that was in the process of traversing the River of Origin. As they were crossing, a TIE/ln space superiority starfighter plummeted from the sky and collided with the AT-AT, resulting in the deaths of multiple stormtroopers inside. L9-7240 subsequently checked for a pulse on one of the fallen, and the scout trooper, along with two fellow soldiers, then confronted the fugitive Jedi named Cal Kestis, but they were all slain.

Biography

L9-7240 checked the pulse of a fallen stormtrooper after the walker carrying them was struck by a TIE fighter.

L9-7240 was the designation for a human scout trooper who was a member of the Stormtrooper Corps within the Galactic Empire. Back in 14 BBY, this soldier found himself stationed on the lush planet of Kashyyyk, the original home of the Wookiee species, who had been made slaves by the Empire. L9-7240 was a part of the military forces that fought against both escaped Wookiees and Partisans under the leadership of the rebel Saw Gerrera. He was riding in one of the three All Terrain Armored Transports that made their way across the River of Origin during a clash with the enemy. The scout's AT-AT took a hit from a crashed TIE/ln space superiority starfighter, but even though it kept moving across the water, four stormtroopers being transported inside the hold were killed as a result.

L9-7240 managed to survive the impact along with another scout trooper and a commander. He then checked for a pulse on one of the dead troopers but found none. The other scout trooper then said it was L9-7240's turn to report the fatalities, and after sighing, L9-7240 did so using the communication device. The fugitive Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, who had gotten onto the walker shortly after the TIE crashed into it, then came out of a hatch at the back of the walker's hold. Upon seeing the Jedi, L9-7240 and the other two Imperials attacked, but Kestis killed all three of them. The Padawan then took control of the walker and used it to assist the Wookiees and Partisans by attacking other Imperial forces, eventually destroying the vehicle in the nearby jungle.

Equipment

L9-7240 was equipped with white and black scout trooper armor along with a red and black harness. In battle, the scout trooper employed an electro riot baton.
