The third installment of the canon comic book miniseries, Star Wars: Lando - Double or Nothing, is Lando - Double or Nothing 3. Rodney Barnes penned the script, Paolo Villanelli provided the illustrations, and Marvel Comics released it on July 25, 2018.

Lando Calrissian found himself bound to a wall in the Wastelands of Kullgroon, facing a boisterous crowd of local inhabitants. Batalla, the group's leader, confronted Lando about their shared history and his past swindling activities at the Calladus Festival, which included the Zakku Rain Cartel. When Batalla inquired about Lando's presence, Lando retorted sarcastically that he was simply vacationing. The interrogation continued, with Batalla informing Lando that the Zakku Rain Cartel was prepared to offer a generous sum for his capture.
Meanwhile, at the Imperial outpost of Kullgroon, L3-37 was in the process of disabling the station's power supply when a stormtrooper intervened, questioning her actions. In response, she declared the start of a resistance movement just as the lights went out, allowing her to escape. Simultaneously, at the same outpost, Kristiss was forcibly placed in a line with other prisoners by a stormtrooper. There, she was reunited with her father, and they exchanged smiles and held hands. Returning to the wasteland, two aliens removed Lando from his chains. Lando attempted to talk his way to freedom, but his efforts were unsuccessful, and he was subsequently thrown into another prison cell.
At the Imperial outpost, Kristiss recounted the recent events to her father, Rythus. Rythus informed her that the guard transfer was imminent, necessitating swift action. Kristiss replied that they were dependent on Lando fulfilling his part of the plan.

While confined to his cell, Lando received a food delivery from a protocol droid. Feigning pain, Lando lured the droid into the cell to investigate, at which point Lando swiftly dismantled the droid and made a dash for freedom. He contacted L3 for extraction, but she was unable to comply to avoid alerting the Empire to their presence. As Lando navigated the corridors, he was intercepted by Batalla and his henchmen. Lando attempted to reason with them, claiming he was merely seeking a decent meal, but Batalla revealed that they were preparing one for Crimson Dawn's finest.
During a work break, Kristiss and her father convened with their fellow Petrusian workers. They endeavored to persuade the others to rebel and fight back. However, many of the workers declined, deeming the risk too great. This infuriated Kristiss, who felt her journey had been in vain.

Before a sizable audience, Lando was thrust into an arena to confront four members of the Zakku Rain Cartel, whom he had previously defrauded. Armed only with a sword, Lando faced the charging cartel members. As the crowd roared, Lando successfully incapacitated two of his adversaries. Suddenly, blaster fire rained down from above as the Millennium Falcon, piloted by L3, arrived to rescue Lando. She targeted the crowd, providing Lando with an opportunity to escape.
During their escape, a massive creature emerged from the planet's surface, narrowly missing the ship as it attempted to seize it. Once clear, Lando contacted Kristiss to confirm her readiness. Kristiss responded with a hesitant affirmative, but their conversation was interrupted by L3, who alerted them to incoming TIE fighters.
