Legacy 9: Trust Issues, Part 1 marks the ninth installment in the Star Wars: Legacy comic book saga.
Part 1 of the two-part storyline, "Trust Issues," explores the volatile nature of political alliances, particularly when forged between former adversaries. Emperor Roan Fel's overtures to the remaining forces of the Galactic Alliance create an environment ripe with suspicion and potential treachery. Adding fuel to the fire, the Sith deploy a skilled operative with the express purpose of sabotaging any chance of a successful alliance.
However, Moff Nyna Calixte harbors her own secret designs, diverging from the Sith's objectives. She introduces a wild card into the equation by reactivating a sleeper agent who has been inactive for almost two decades. Amidst all this political maneuvering, the burning question remains: What is Cade Skywalker's current whereabouts?
In the letters section of this comic, editor Randy Stradley informed readers of a color mistake that occurred in issue seven. Deliah Blue was mistakenly colored to resemble Marasiah Fel while she was asleep. A corrected version of the page was included after the letters column in issue nine, which Stradley jokingly suggested could be removed and inserted into the correct issue.
