A CR90 corvette was a vessel used by the New Republic Defense Fleet, and it played a significant role in the Battle of Jakku. Specifically, it transported Captain Lindsey and his team to Carbon Ridge with the objective of demolishing an Imperial research base. Unfortunately, the corvette met its end in a crash on the planet's surface. Although Lindsey and some members of his squad survived the crash, their location soon became a target for Imperial forces, placing them in a precarious situation as they faced the threat of being overwhelmed by Imperial walkers. Fortunately, they received assistance from Inferno Squad Commander Iden Versio and Shriv Suurgav. Working together, they successfully eliminated the walkers and other Imperial forces. Subsequently, the Corvus extracted Lindsey and his surviving personnel, transporting them to Carbon Ridge so that they could fulfill their original objective.
