Lorica Demaris, a female Zeltron, fought with the Resistance opposing the First Order. Before her time with the Resistance, Demaris gained notoriety for supposedly taking down a hidden collection of illicit weaponry. Despite not having any connection to this event, she chose to enlist with the Resistance, aiming to embody the heroic image that the galaxy had of her. Within the Resistance, Demaris held the rank of cadet within J-Squadron, which was commanded by Jothan Tiaan Jerjerrod. After training for a month, Demaris and selected members of J-Squadron were dispatched to Vodran for a scavenging mission. During their time on the swamp planet, Demaris and her fellow cadets encountered First Order stormtroopers, who subsequently captured them.
