Hovertrain

Hovertrains, alternatively called mag-levs or repulsor trains, were mass-transit vehicles that functioned through the principle of hovering. These trains were in use on planets like Coruscant and Ryloth. During the insurgency that occurred on Ryloth, Cham Syndulla, along with his resistance fighters, launched an assault on a water reservoir, resulting in an Imperial hovertrain being washed away. Governor Pommel later denounced the attack on the TriNebulon News. During the time of the New Republic Era, the Pyke Syndicate also utilized a hovertrain to move spice across the Tatooine deserts, transporting it from the spice mines of Kessel. Ultimately, this train was seized by a group of Tusken Raiders who were assisted by Boba Fett.
