Moreover, the suit's internal oxygen supply allowed the wearer to breathe for a duration of 10 hours. Notably, the battle armor demonstrated significant resistance against attacks utilizing electricity.
During the Great Sith War, Mandalorian Crusaders utilized the Mandalorian battle armor, with one such suit being donned by Mandalore the Indomitable himself. In the subsequent Mandalorian Wars, the majority of Mandalorians aligned with the Neo-Crusader movement and adopted the Neo-Crusader light armor. Nevertheless, seasoned warriors such as Rohlan Dyre continued to employ their older battle armor throughout this period of conflict. It is possible that Cassus Fett occasionally chose to wear battle armor instead of his customary golden Neo-Crusader light armor.
Several decades later, the Mandalorian battle armor remained in service during both the Jedi Civil War and the Dark Wars. It was during this time that Canderous Ordo wore a heavy Mandalorian battle armor as he took on the mantle of Mand'alor, becoming known as Mandalore the Preserver.
The initial appearance of the Mandalorian battle armor occurred in the 2003 video game titled Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Subsequent to this, the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide expanded upon the details of this armor and identified the Mandalorian armor worn by Mandalore the Indomitable within the Tales of the Jedi comic series and by Rohlan Dyre in the Knights of the Old Republic comic series as battle armors.
