Armor worn by Mandalorian Supercommandos Mandalorian Supercommandos, referred to as Mando Ori'ramikade within the Mando'a language, represented a distinct subgroup of the Mandalorians. They adhered to the principles of the Supercommando Codex, a set of guidelines established by Jaster Mereel, and operated as highly compensated soldiers and mercenaries with a strong sense of honor.
In the year 60 BBY, Jaster Mereel, who held the title of Mandalore, promulgated his Supercommando Codex. Mereel's forces functioned as hired warriors and mercenaries, but their paramount objective involved pursuing the Death Watch. During the Mandalorian Civil War, the Supercommandos devoted to Mereel's True Mandalorian faction were completely annihilated at the Battle of Galidraan in 44 BBY according to the year system. In the aftermath of the conflict, numerous Supercommandos dispersed across the galaxy, working as independent mercenaries.
Several decades later, during the time of the Clone Wars, Mandalore the Resurrector along with Fenn Shysa provided training to a battalion of Supercommandos. These Supercommandos then engaged in raids against Republic territories as mercenaries contracted by the Separatists. By the conclusion of the war, a significant portion of the Supercommandos, including those belonging to the Mandalorian Protectors, had perished in combat.
Around the time of the Second Galactic Civil War which took place in 40 ABY, Boba Fett, who was Mandalore at the time, could rely on a force of one hundred Supercommandos. This group included Fett's granddaughter Mirta Gev, her fiancé Ghes Orade, Novoc Vevut who was Orade's adoptive father, as well as Baltan Carid, Ram Zerimar, and Goran Beviin.
During the Second Battle of Fondor, Fett spearheaded a contingent of fifty Supercommandos who were allied with Admiral Natasi Daala. They were aboard the Turbulent-class Star Destroyer named Bloodfin with the mission to reclaim the vessel from forces loyal to the Moffs who were attempting to join forces with Darth Caedus. The Supercommandos achieved their objective, but they were compelled to permit Tahiri Veila, a Sith apprentice, to escape with assistance from Caedus. This was due to Fett's directives that only Jaina Solo was authorized to confront her brother.
