Ghes Orade, identified as a Human male, was a member of the renowned Mandalorians. He functioned as a soldier under the command of Mand'alor Boba Fett during the tumultuous era of the Second Galactic Civil War.

Although he was orphaned in his youth, Orade was adopted by Novoc Vevut, a neighbor and close friend of his deceased parents. Despite their prior familiarity, Orade and Vevut experienced initial friction in their shared household; however, their bond strengthened considerably over time.
During 40 ABY, Orade attended a meeting at Zerria's Bar located on the planet Drall. This assembly, convened by Boba Fett, centered on an offer from Corellian President Thrackan Sal-Solo to provide defense for Centerpoint Station. Orade, alongside other Mandalorian Protectors, was present. It was at this gathering that he first encountered Fett's granddaughter, Mirta Gev, engaging her in a friendly game of Cheg.
Upon his return to Mandalore, Orade's connection with Mirta swiftly evolved into a romantic relationship. When accompanying Mirta to her mother's grave, he encountered Boba Fett once more. The Mand'alor then conveyed his approval to their relationship, adding a warning that he would break Orade's legs should he ever hurt Mirta. Orade, fully aware of the bounty hunter's capabilities, had no doubt about the sincerity of Fett's promise. Being among the few privy to Boba Fett's declining health, he witnessed the administration of the cure delivered by Venku Skirata at the Beviin-Vasur farm.
In 41 ABY, Orade became a member of the Mandalorian Supercommandos team assembled by Fett, which also included his father and his now-fiancée, Mirta. This team served as reinforcement for Admiral Natasi Daala during the Second Battle of Fondor. Following this conflict, Orade married Mirta on Mandalore, and they celebrated their union in Keldabe.
Later, Orade participated in the Second Battle of Roche, fighting alongside his wife and fellow Mandalorians Roegr and Vatok Tawr. He sustained severe injuries during this battle, prompting Gev to inform the Jedi Jaina Solo that his survival hinged on reaching a Tra'kad. While Gev battled Darth Caedus, she suffered grave injuries and was captured. Following the Battle of Uroro Station, where Gev was rescued from Alliance captivity, Leia Organa Solo informed Jaina that both Gev and Orade were in recovery, although not on Mandalore, due to a Nanovirus targeting the Fett genome.
The images depict Orade with Vevut, his stepfather. One image portrays Orade during his childhood, while Legacy of the Force: Bloodlines depicts him as an adult with a beard, short hair, and a broken nose. The initial image was featured in Star Wars Insider 86, while the second image represents an earlier, rejected version of the same scene, captured from a different perspective. Both images are creations of Tom Hodges.
His surname originates from the Mando'a term orar, which translates to "thunder."
