Maradaine

Maradaine was a deity venerated by the Neimoidians as a species. Together with the goddess Aven, Maradaine was famous for narrating the Unraveled Tale. A significant landmark in Zarra, the capital city located on the planet Cato Neimoidia, was a statue depicting the two goddesses. During 22 BBY, Minister Alluv Eyam of the Cato Neimoidian government made reference to the statue of Aven while contemplating Neimoidian culture during a trial for Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was falsely accused of offenses connected to the destruction of the Cadesura district in Zarra.
